Before your appointment
Pre-Tan Checklist.
- Shower, shave, and exfoliate 4–6 hours before your appointment.
- Skip moisturizer, deodorant, makeup, and perfume the day of.
- Wear loose, dark clothing and flip-flops to your appointment.
- Bring a strapless bra or seamless underwear if you want tan lines, or skip them entirely.
After your appointment
Post-Tan Care.
- Wait 8–10 hours before your first rinse (or follow your solution-specific timing).
- Rinse in warm water only. No soap or scrubbing on the first wash.
- Pat dry. Never rub.
- Moisturize daily with a sulfate-free lotion to extend your glow.
- Avoid long baths, hot tubs, and chlorine for the life of your tan.
- Lasts 7–10 days with proper care.
